The Weekly Dissect
Entry 5 - “Marilyn Manson, The Actor”
by Drew Dammron

Marilyn-MansonPortrait-of-an-American-Family

During the early and mid-1990s, rocker Marilyn Manson disrupted the moral fabric of America with such groundbreaking albums as Portrait of An American Family and Antichrist Superstar.  His on-screen and on-stage antics, which included tearing up the Bible and wiping his ass with Old Glory, garnered much negative attention from the religious-right, the all-loving left, and the media in general.  Twenty-some years later in the modern age, Manson finds himself to be a much less-hated man in the eye of the public, at least usually.  READ MORE

Entry 4 - “Justin Bieber In Reverse”
by Drew Dammron
May, 2015

Tonight is the night for the premiere of the Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber, which unfortunately for the producers was pre-recorded weeks ago.  I say “unfortunately” because there could have had way more material to work with if they had only waited to tape after last night.  It’s also safe to say that a new sushi roll will be named after The Biebs.  READ MORE

This Memorial Day, Out of My Head Radio put together a special thank you, to express our gratitude to all of our veterans -- we simply wanted anyone within earshot to know that we appreciate the sacrifices made by the men and women of the Armed Forces.

The images found in this video were used to show as many different perspectives as possible. These images, combined with the Pledge of Allegiance and the instrumental of America the Beautiful, is the very least we could do to say thank you.

The Wounded Warrior Project states its purposes as: – To raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members. – To help injured service members aid and assist each other. – To provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members. Please visit THE WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT for more information on how you can give to this great program.

All images and sounds are the property of their respective owners.

The rendition of America the Beautiful was performed by Black Label Society.

Entry 3 - “Robin Thicke, Robin Gaye, and The Devil”
by Drew Dammron
April 2015

Article3Arobinthicke

It had been decided by a Jury that Robin Thicke’s song, “Blurred Lines,” was indeed plagiarized from Marvin Gaye’s hit single “Got To Give It Up.”  What the mainstream media does not report though is that Robin Thicke gave it up a long time ago, and by it, we mean his soul.  Trashy pop songs like “Blurred Lines” are often cited as a sign of the impending apocalypse due to overtly-sexualized lyrics and banal melodies, but many do not realize just how literal the connection to the end of days actually is.  READ MORE

Entry 2 - “The Wrath of The Tiger Blood”
by Drew Dammron
March 2015
 Article2
On Monday night, Charlie Sheen was spotted by paparazzi photographers with a posse that included Darius McCrary of Family Matters fame.  When asked for his opinion on how Chuck Lorre ended Two and a Half Men and ultimately his character’s life, Sheen responded with an ominous warning to the producer.  “You must feel safe where you live,” Sheen said beside a grinning McCrary.  Many would believe that this is simply one of Sheen’s humorous tirades and should not be taken seriously, but the events that transpired later in the week, which the mainstream media chose to ignore, prove that the wrath of the tiger blood should not be underestimated.  READ MORE

Entry 1 - “The Authenticity of Bruce Jenner”
by Drew Dammron
March 8, 2015

Article1Mainstream news sources reported on February 7, 2015 that Olympian and reality TV star Bruce Jenner was involved in a horrible car accident on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California that caused one fatality and several injuries.  Jenner had very little to say publicly about the incident but his people clarified that he was not under the influence of any inhibiting substances and that he was fully cooperating with authorities.  It has since been determined that Jenner was telling the truth about his sobriety but that he had perhaps been following too closely behind the flow of traffic.

Weeks later, a pearl dress worn by Mexican-Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong’o during the 87th Academy Awards was stolen from her hotel room.  Shortly after, the pearls were deemed fake and the dress was mysteriously returned to a public restroom in the same hotel.  No suspects were apprehended.  The mainstream media wants you to believe that these two incidents are completely unrelated.  The Weekly Dissect begs to differ.  Read More...
